One of our most popular phone payment solutions is our Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) collection service.  This market leading solution was developed by Cobalt in 2002, enabling motorists to pay a PCN at any time, night or day, by IVR or web, wherever they are.  Operational staff, in the meantime, are freed up to answer more complex queries, during standard working hours.

Since launch, the service has developed and grown and is now offered by local authorities and private operators across the UK.

Bailiff Services

Cobalt’s automated debt payment service offers bailiffs the opportunity to reroute routine payment calls away from the Call Centre and onto an automated solution instead.   When customers call into the debt processing centre, instead of speaking directly to a call handler, they are first offered the option of paying directly by phone.

The specially designed service is fully automated and offers real-time integration directly into the back office system used widely across the industry.  The solution comes with full audit trails and is PCI DSS level 1 compliant.
