Ticket Sales

Originally developed in 1998 for the specific requirements of Synchro System's Unix based ticketing system ARENAR, Cobalt's highly featured ticket sales application has since been extensively refined and developed. It is now a fully featured product for deployment within the box offices of stadiums and sporting arenas worldwide and features full integration to VenueMaster the market leading box office solution.

Independently tested by Ericsson at their development labs in the UK, the application has proved itself capable of selling over £2m worth of tickets each day. Currently Cobalt's largest UK implementation is at Manchester United's Old Trafford Stadium an all seater ground with a capacity of 76,212.

Ticket Balloting

For events in which demand far exceeds ticket supply, ballots are run. Cobalt has developed a fully automated service to process high volumes of ballot applications. This service not only handles inbound telephone calls but also accepts applications made via the web as well. Extensively used by Manchester United since the 2004-2005 season, the software solution notably handled the majority of ticket applications for both Manchester United's heavily oversubscribed FA semi-final matches, and indeed the cup final itself during the 2004, 2005 and 2007 tournament campaigns.

Membership Renewal

Annual renewal of memberships can prove a significant administrative headache for a range of organisations. Cobalt has developed integrated solutions for organisations in both the private and the not-for-profit sectors.
