Head office expansion work continues

 16 Mar 2006

Work will continue throughout March on the new suite of offices taken by Cobalt in Basingstoke. Possession of the offices, which were previously occupied by Legal and General, was granted on March 3rd under an eight year lease on undisclosed terms. The offices are now undergoing significant refurbishment in order to bring them up to the required standard. Naturally flood cabling will be a high priority, with ample data points to CAT 6 standard being placed within the walls and floors. The thoughtful use of modern lighting techniques, which will include energy efficient downlighters, halogen feature lighting and designer wall lighting will enhance the working environment. Light oak veneer furniture, to match existing stock, will be used in most office areas with the resited reception being fitted out in lighter maple veneers.

Update

Sir George Young, MP for North East Hampshire and former Minister of Transport, has kindly agreed to formally open the new suite of offices at 09.45 am on Thursday the 6th April 2006. The new offices, which add a further 1300 sq feet of space, will support the strong demand being shown for Cobalt's hosted transaction-processing services, and in particular the RingGo and Police Voice Portal products.

Photographs of the opening will be available from noon that day as an update to this news item. Members of the press are invited to request high resolution versions by calling Luc Warner on 07850 047011.
