From today (1 August), the London Borough of Lambeth is to benefit from Cobalt Telephone Technologies' automated phone and web services, enabling payment of penalty charge notices at any time of day or night.

Parking specialist, Cobalt Telephone Technologies, hopes to harmonise pay-by-phone across London as it rolls out its RingGo parking system in its fifth borough in the capital.
On 18 June 2008, Transport for London switched on Cobalt Telephone Technologies' automated payment services. Now motorists who drive into the London Congestion Zone without prior payment, and are subsequently fined, can pay their penalty on-line or via an automated phone line.
From 12th May 2008, it will be all change in 10 of Oxford's car parks including Gloucester Green and Worcester Street. The Council is transforming its phone parking service to save drivers time and money.
