South West Trains is extending a trial of a new cashless payment system to eight more station car parks on its network - bringing the total to 18.
More people travelling from First Great Western stations are being offered fast track parking, with the announcement that eight additional car parks are launching the RingGo service.  From today, people parking at Bodmin, Bridgwater, Clifton Down, Falmouth Docks, Frome, Gloucester, Liskeard and Weston-super-Mare can pay using simply their mobile phone and a credit or debit card.
Richmond Council in southwest London is proposing to extend its ground-breaking CO2 related parking policy using new technology provided by RingGo.  The change is one of a number of parking recommendations to go before the cabinet on 19 January. 
From today (17 December) people shopping in Bristol can pay for their parking over their mobile phone, using a credit or debit card, rather than with coins.  Cashless parking service, RingGo, is rolling out to to a number of on-street parking bays and off-street car parks operated by Bristol City Council, from today.
