| The London Borough of Hounslow today becomes the latest Local Authority to offer RingGo mobile phone parking to its residents and visitors. Hounslow decided that a trial of this proven system was unnecessary and have signed a five year contract. | ||

| From this morning motorists across the whole of Northern Ireland will
be able to pay their parking tickets by phone or web, at any time of
day, using hosted services supplied by Cobalt. These customer-friendly
payment facilities are based on the company's proven
transaction-handling capabilities which have already been widely
deployed in support of local government departments elsewhere in the UK.

The London Borough of Ealing joined many other satisfied local
authority users this morning as it publicly deployed Cobalt's highly
acclaimed self-service environments for the payment of Penalty Charge
Notices. From today, motorists who receive a parking ticket within the borough have the opportunity to settle their fine by making a payment either through a web portal or by means of an automated telephone environment. | ||

| For anyone who has stood at a 'Pay & Display' ticket machine with only a crumpled £20 note in their hand, Bournemouth Borough Council has good news. From Monday, 17 July, car parking in 45 car parks across town can be paid with just one quick call on a mobile phone. This is the biggest roll-out of cashless parking by any local authority in England. | ||
