From today the 120,000 professionally qualified accountants that are registered in England and Wales have a new means of paying their professional fees.  This new service, which was launched in preparation for the rush of renewals that are expected in late December, is the result of several months of planning.  "We are delighted to be working with Cobalt" said David Yerbury, ICAEW project manager "Handling the significant volumes of renewals that we receive has been a traditional but unwelcome problem for our membership department during the early part of the new year."

Cobalt's proven solution builds upon its considerable expertise in the handling of credit cards.  "Having been involved in the renewals process for season ticket holders and members on behalf of Manchester United for several years now" said Peter Tomlin, Cobalt's Technical Director, "this work is a very natural extension of our business scope."
