Cobalt receives a major public endorsement of RingGo today with the formal announcement by APCOA that it has chosen to roll out this cashless parking solution to major railway stations across the length of the West Country.
The award is the most significant implementation of cashless parking ever undertaken in England, and is in support of First Great Western. To be completed during 2006, it will follow in the steps of Brunel. 63 stations are planned to be included. Amoungst them are major interchanges such as Didcot Parkway, Swindon, and Twyford.

This win builds on the existing relationship between APCOA and Cobalt. Motorists who receive a charge notice in a car park for which APCOA is responsible have the opportunity to pay the charge via the web, or an automated telephone interface. Both were established in 2005 for APCOA by Cobalt.
More public details of the RingGo rollout will follow in due course.
Parking Industry professionals are invited to learn more in the next few days by joining APCOA and Cobalt at Parkex 2006. This annual event takes place at Earls Court in London on the 26th and 27th of April
