The London Borough of Haringey today became the fifth London Borough to go live with the Cobalt PCN Payment Service. This significant service launch follows two years of discussions and planning. Haringey is located in the north of the capital, and is often described as an outer London borough with inner London challenges. Haringey has in recent years enjoyed a huge injection of funding from both Europe and Central Government which is financing urban regeneration projects, boosting the local economy and creating local jobs for local people.
The launch follows the recent adoption by Haringey of powers under the Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) Order 2002.
