Mobile toting fifth and sixth formers are once again the focus of an innovative campaign to promote further and higher education opportunities undertaken by Hull College in Yorkshire. Using Texture, Cobalt's innovative SMS messaging application, the college has devised a campaign timed to coincide with the release of examination results to promote the further education opportunities that it can offer for the young people of East Yorkshire.  Previous campaigns have proved highly successful for the college and allowed to adress their target audience in a way that works for all.

Hull College is a general further education college. It is the largest college in East Yorkshire and serves an area with a population of about 450,000. Hull College recruits directly from more than 25 schools, including 14 in the city. Over the last 12 years the proportion of school-leavers joining the college as full-time students has increased from 2 per cent to 24 per cent.
