Robust service maintained for airlines in difficult times

The tragic events of September 11th and the subsequent prolonged closure of American airspace led to the heaviest day of traffic ever seen on the Cobalt service platform taking place on September 13th. Peak volume increases across the day of 160% and busy hour increases of 250% were handled without any reduction whatsoever in service quality. The pre-planned mix of traffic handled by the platform, together with generous margins of excess capacity allowed normal service to be provided throughout the days following the atrocities.

Cobalt would like to take this opportunity to extend its condolences to all the families and friends of all those individuals directly affected by the events.
