UK football club Manchester United FC has completed testing of the 60 line IVR system installed by Cobalt at its Old Trafford ground in April ready for live operation in support of ticket sales for the 2001- 2002 season. Highly resilient in architecture, the system comprises twin servers independently located in separate parts of the ground. The IVR system incorporates extensive failsafe features and, should it be required, is capable of selling all of the seats within the 67,000 seat ground within 48 hours.
