Cobalt believes that the success of our business is inextricably linked with the well-being of the environment in which we operate. So as a company, our aim is to help everyone understand, value and pursue sustainability. In all we do, we try to positively benefit the environment, society and the economy, whilst simultaneously trying to minimise any adverse impact we may have.
To help us achieve these goals, we follow 12 guiding principles. Key amongst these are: putting people at the centre; taking a long term perspective; and supporting our local economy.
Our products and services are designed with environmental aspects in mind. Indeed, many of the automated services within our digital portfolio benefit the environment, by maximising resources, cutting journeys, doing away with physical proof, and reducing the need for physical equipment.
In 2010, Cobalt’s regard for this area was recognised and rewarded when the company jointly won the first ever British Parking Environmental Award, for our world-leading Carbon-Metered Parking service.
