As a purchaser of goods and services, we endeavour to use local suppliers – for signs, printing, promotional items and human resources, wherever possible.
Our staff are encouraged to take part in charitable activities and are given time off to do so. Thousands of pounds have been donated by Cobalt staff through our charity matching scheme, whereby the company matches sponsorship raised by employees.
The regard in which Cobalt is held locally, for these and other activities, has not gone unnoticed. In 2010, the company was honoured to be chosen as the Mayor of Basingstoke’s “Business of the Year”, following in the footsteps of Motorola, Sunlife of Canada and Eli Lilly.
